Extractions
Dr. Rankin routinely performs extractions in-house if the patient is in good health. Extractions are "simple" if only a forcep or an "elevator" is used. They are "surgical" if a high speed drill is employed. We do not usually remove teeth if they are impacted or if I.V. sedation is needed. If that is the case, referral to an oral surgeon will be made.
